Our Mission:

A community based organization that creates partnerships between communities in need and service learning volunteers to assist  in improving education, health care and developing sustainable practices and commerce.

Our intent is to form long term relationships with communities so they can be successful in implementing lasting and meaningful improvements to standards of living.

Our organization was founded by educators who recognize  the benefits of service learning projects for both local students  and the communities they serve.  Students that engage in service learning projects experience an authentic educational experience  and  make  global connections.  Students learn to communicate more effectively, overcoming language barriers, students  forge friendships and develop relationships with the children of the communities.

Students gain an understanding of global issues such as the lack of clean drinking water, electricity, adequate living conditions and education. Students take leadership roles in project development based on community needs,  enhance their problem solving skills and seek solutions to challenges these communities face.
